π Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of MerciGlobal Cloud ERP implementation projects. The role encompasses project planning, execution, monitoring, governance, risk control, stakeholder communication, and successful project closure. The Project Manager ensures delivery within defined scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
The role demands strong ERP domain expertise, structured project management capability, and client-facing leadership.
π― Key Responsibilities
1οΈβ£ Project Planning & Initiation
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Prepare and obtain approval for Project Charter
- Develop detailed Project Plan (WBS, milestones, dependencies)
- Resource planning and allocation (Functional + Technical teams)
- Define project timelines and milestone schedules
- Conduct risk identification and mitigation planning
- Establish governance structure and communication matrix
2οΈβ£ Requirement & Scope Management
- Coordinate SRS (Software Requirement Specification) finalization
- Ensure complete documentation of functional & technical requirements
- Conduct scope validation workshops with stakeholders
- Freeze scope post sign-off and manage change control process
- Maintain change request log and impact analysis documentation
- Prevent scope creep through structured approvals
3οΈβ£ Team Coordination & Leadership
- Assign tasks and define accountability (RACI matrix)
- Conduct internal sprint/review meetings
- Monitor productivity and milestone adherence
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration
- Resolve internal conflicts and resource bottlenecks
- Mentor and guide team members for performance improvement
4οΈβ£ Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the client
- Conduct project kickoff meetings
- Lead weekly/bi-weekly project review meetings
- Share structured status reports and Minutes of Meeting (MoM)
- Manage stakeholder expectations and escalations
- Provide proactive risk communication to clients
5οΈβ£ Project Execution & Monitoring
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Monitor adherence to scope, cost, and timeline
- Ensure completion of configuration, customization, and integration tasks
- Ensure User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution and signoff
- Ensure bug resolution within defined SLA
- Maintain project dashboards and performance trackers
6οΈβ£ Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure complete and version-controlled documentation
- Ensure Unit Testing and Integration Testing completion
- Validate audit trail requirements and compliance checks
- Maintain quality control metrics
- Ensure readiness for Go-Live checklist
7οΈβ£ Project Closure & Handover
- Obtain final UAT sign-off
- Ensure smooth Go-Live execution
- Complete formal project closure documentation
- Conduct knowledge transfer to Support team
- Submit final documentation set to client
- Collect client feedback and conduct closure review

π Performance Evaluation Framework
The overall evaluation of the Project Manager shall be based on:
- Measurable accomplishment of the defined KRAs and performance metrics outlined in this document.
- Adherence to project governance standards, delivery discipline, and quality benchmarks established by MerciGlobal Cloud ERP.
- Alignment with the companyβs Standard Performance Evaluation System, including behavioral competencies, leadership effectiveness, compliance adherence, and organizational contribution.
KRA achievement will form the quantitative basis of appraisal, while the companyβs standard evaluation framework will assess qualitative parameters such as professionalism, collaboration, ownership, innovation, and cultural alignment.
Final performance rating shall be determined through a balanced scorecard approach combining KRA performance metrics and organizational evaluation criteria.
