Time Regulation Policy

Purpose

The purpose of this Time Regulation Policy is to define clear guidelines and expectations regarding work hours, attendance, breaks, leave management, and related regulations. These measures are essential to maintain operational efficiency, accountability, and fairness across all levels of employment.

Scope

This policy applies to all personnel of Merciglobal System Pvt. Ltd., including full-time employees, contractual staff, and interns.


Policy Details

1. Work Hours

  • Standard working hours are from 09:45 AM to 07:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

2. Training / Meeting

  • Time allocated: 09:45 AM to 10:00 AM.
  • Participation in trainings or meetings will impact positive or negative reward points.

3. Lunch Break

  • Scheduled from 01:30 PM to 02:15 PM.

4. Tea Break

  • Scheduled from 04:45 PM to 05:00 PM.

5. Attendance

  • 5.1 All employees and interns must log attendance using the biometric system with photo capture.
  • 5.2 Any employee needing a half-day or full-day leave must inform their HOD/reporting manager the previous day in case of illness or emergencies.

6. Late Marking

  • 6.1 Arrival between 09:46 AM to 11:00 AM is considered half-day.
  • 6.2 Entry after 11:00 AM will be marked as a absent/half-day.

7. Timely Presence

  • Consistent punctuality is rewarded with positive reward points.

8. Dress Code

  • 8.1 Formal attire is mandatory.
  • 8.2 Required dress code: shirt, trousers, and formal shoes in office and client locations.
  • 8.3 Casual or informal clothing is not permitted.
  • 8.4 Hairstyles must be neat and professional. Female staff must tie hair properly.
  • 8.5 Dress code compliance affects reward points positively or negatively.

9. Leave Rules

  • 9.1 All leave must be pre-approved, except in emergencies.
  • 9.2 Leave will be marked as invalid under the following conditions:

  • Absence without prior intimation.

  • Being found outside office premises during work hours.
  • Failure to record attendance.
  • Lack of communication regarding absence.

10. Disciplinary Action

  • 10.1 Repeated policy violations will trigger disciplinary action.
  • 10.2 Each violation will be documented in the HR system.
  • 10.3 Merciglobal Cloud ERP will automatically generate compliance and attendance reports.

Policy Review

This policy is subject to revision by the HR or management team. All changes will be communicated appropriately.

Approval for this Time Regulation Policy is provided by the management committee of Merciglobal System Pvt. Ltd.
